Here, Women Empowered are given the tools to build a foundation for wealth to Rise, improving life for themselves, their families and their communities.

About Us

Here WE Rise is a nonprofit that focuses on meeting women during any stage of their financial journey to empower, encourage, and motivate them to take control of their finances through education, resources, and community.

Vision

At Here WE (Women Empowered) Rise, we're circumventing poverty through working with women at four critical stages: providing financial literacy, transitional stability, economic advancement strategy and opportunity to grow wealth for generations to come.

Our Objectives

Financial Literacy

Here, we empower women who are comfortably supporting their families but want to grow wealth in a more active and strategic way. We established resources about often overlooked areas for women like trust planning, different types of retirement and investment accounts. We also focus on healthy living strategies to foster and maintain the energy needed to manage both career and wealth growth. Engaging in community-building and networking is important to this stage so that like-minded women can support each other.

Transitional Support

Here, we empower women looking to level up in their current career, create a meaningful side hustle or expand one, translate skills to dream jobs, or found a company/business. Curated resources give access to career/job advancement tools, side hustle or founder pathways and give access to mentors, while teaching women how to grow their network and community. We give more tools to address healthy work/life balance focused on their physical and mental health that it takes to level up.

Levelling Up

Here, we empower women in transition i.e. divorce, childbirth, or unexpected job loss. Through a tailored program offered twice a year, we aim to meet the woman where she's at in her transition and gain her stability back. Women in transition is a primary focus for the foundation to disrupt the cycle of poverty as women “age 20 to age 34, are two percentage points poorer than men. The difference coincides with the peak productive and reproductive ages” (UN Women and World Bank, 2018) and there is an opportunity to holistically assist women facing the challenges.

Investing Class Growing Wealth & Health

Here, we empower women through financial literacy resources and workshops that are culturally competent, inclusive and applicable. Through financial bootcamps, for target age group 14-25, we aim to empower young women with information on budgeting, earning,, workforce readiness, life-planning, healthy lifestyle and community building all in one program to equip young women with the tools they need to start ahead of the game. While 14-25 is our target age group for bootcamps, our resource and workshop library will support building financial foundations for women of all ages.
